This is Your Opportunity to Make a Difference
Thanks to generous community support and our many donors, we have helped over 10,000 women and children in our residential program alone. Thousands more have been assisted through our Community Support Programs. Your gift, no matter how big or small, will help us as we continue providing safe shelter, emergency care and programming for women, children, men and families in their time of need.
Cash Donations
Donations of cash are immediately used to benefit the women and children that visit our shelter either through the purchase of food, household items, toiletries or other immediate needs. Cash donations are also used to supplement our shelter program expenses.

In-Kind Donation
In addition to monetary donations, in-kind gifts are always welcome and gratefully appreciated! We respectfully accept new items only at the shelter, but gently used items are accepted at Orbiting Trends. Feel free to check out our Wish List online or contact us with questions.

Kids Helping Kids
Children can help other children by donating things that children love. This can be children’s toothpaste and toothbrushes; food that they know other kids love; sporting accessories; colouring books, crayons, DVD’s, books, etc.
This donation program is especially good to teach our future adults the joy of giving.

Holiday Helpers
Many of our women do not have the financial means to provide gifts or a special meal for their children at Christmas. The Holiday Helpers program provides companies and/or individuals the opportunity to spread good tidings to those who are less fortunate.
You can call us at 780-594-5095 and we can provide you with the composition of a family that you would like to help out this holiday season. The family’s information is always kept private and confidential. We will deliver the package you provide for the family you sponsor.
