For Individuals Seeking Shelter or Support
Stepping Stones Crisis Society (SSCS) provides safe shelter, resources, and support services for individuals facing domestic abuse and family crisis. Our programs are designed to empower individuals with the tools needed for safety, independence, and self-worth.
Our shelter services are available to women, with or without children, who are in crisis due to domestic abuse. We also offer support and resources to individuals facing similar situations.
SSCS offers emergency shelter, counseling, safety planning, advocacy, and access to essential resources such as child support, educational resources, and community programs.
If you need immediate assistance, please call our 24/7 Crisis Helpline at 780.594.3353. We’re here to provide guidance, support, and immediate intervention if necessary.
All of our services, including shelter and support programs, are provided at no cost to individuals in crisis.
You may want to bring essential documents (e.g., ID, health cards, and any legal documents) and personal items. If you need assistance with preparing for your stay, please reach out, and we’ll help guide you through the process.
