Full Time and Casual Crisis Intervention Workers

Stepping Stones Crisis Society is seeking Crisis Intervention Workers to join their team. The Crisis Intervention Worker is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for women and children fleeing family violence by ensuring access to temporary shelter; providing crisis intervention services, support, advocacy, information, resources, and referrals to all persons requesting that service; enabling clients to recognize their options, mobilize their support networks, and utilize their opportunities to move toward healthy and stable futures. Causal shifts cover shifts as needed, which includes day shifts & overnight shifts which would be 9:30pm to 7:30am.

Family Support Worker and Community Support Worker

We're looking to expand our compassionate team with two vital roles: 🔹 Full-Time Community Support Worker 🔸 Full-Time Family Support Worker The Community Support Worker is responsible for providing public awareness and education to the community surrounding issues of family violence and bullying. In addition, this role supports in developing and maintaining active outreach programs and case management while ensuring that follow-up services, referrals and practical supports are in place to assist clients. The Family Support Worker is responsible for providing individualized support services to clients and families residing in the Second Stage Housing Program. In this role you will facilitate individual sessions and assist and empower clients to recognize options and utilize their opportunities to move toward healthy and stable futures.
